Field Service Assistant Manager – Michigan City, IN

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Managing field services
  • Opening, reviewing, and closing work orders
  • Assist in sourcing parts for jobs, as needed
  • Preparing detailed service invoices
  • Managing and tracking parts inventory
  • Reviewing and approving applicable payroll
  • Monitoring PM schedules
  • Helping to support customers by understanding and addressing their needs
  • Maintaining organized service records, both physical and electronic formats
  • Assisting in managing service parts and supplies inventory
  • Other tasks as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Experience creating and reviewing work orders
  • Experience with payroll systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with inventory management
  • Ability to manage customer relationships
  • Awareness of being a representation of the company at all times, and an eager brand advocate
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and record-keeping capabilities
  • Collaborative spirit
  • Heavy equipment, steel mill environment, and/or intermodal experience preferred
