WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment at customer sites
  • Perform routine inspections and services on equipment
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by understanding/addressing customers’ needs and time constraints
  • Complete required work orders accurately
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and use required PPE properly
  • Respond to service calls timely and efficiently
  • Responsible for keeping company issued vehicle, equipment, tools, etc. in working order
  • Maintain a small fleet of lift equipment
  • Carry sufficient tools to complete the job as required
  • Diagnose issues with company-owned equipment and communicate to site management
  • Execute maintenance and repair work
  • Utilize company’s maintenance management software to prepare required work orders, fill out timecards, order parts, etc.
  • Create parts list when needed and communicate to Site Management and/or Purchasing
  • Maintain any certifications required for specific or specialized work, as well as any licenses required to operate service vehicles
  • Keep company assets such as vehicle, laptop, diagnostic & specialty tooling, etc. in working order

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 3-5 years of mechanical experience with heavy equipment and a strong working knowledge of hydraulics, powertrain, electronic/electrical systems, diesel, etc.
  • Must have hand tools
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Experience with diagnostic software
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
  • Availability to work overtime and weekends as required
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good decision making, problem solving, troubleshooting, and creative thinking skills
