WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Prepare inventory valuations, cost allocations, and related reporting.
- Assist with inventory-related month-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Track and report on inventory for internal use, resale, and field service operations.
- Analyze cost trends, usage patterns, and variances across inventory and fixed asset accounts.
- Support inventory and asset counts, tagging, and field-level physical controls.
- Assist with implementation of inventory management systems (NetSuite, ManagerPlus, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal control procedures.
- Participate in field audits and support accurate work order cost tracking.
- Serve as liaison between Finance and Operations to ensure alignment of cost and process data.
- Assist leadership with execution of key initiatives and operational cost reviews.
- Document and improve inventory, asset, and work order financial processes.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in inventory accounting, cost analysis, or operational finance.
- Familiarity with GAAP and strong understanding of financial control principles.
- Proficiency with Excel and ERP platforms (NetSuite preferred).
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
- Comfort working in field and office environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Willingness to travel to shop, warehouse, or site locations.
